Story Line : Bhaskar returns to his native place after 40 years, only to see the ruins of his manor. He feels indebted to his mother, who motivated him to become a doctor and vows to fulfil her wish.

Story Line :In a school ,the students of 10-F are mostly treated unfairly by teachers and authorities. Resultantly, they display their anger by vandalising the school.

Shwas is a Marathi film, released in 2004. It was India’s official entry to the 2004 Oscars and was ranked 6th in the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film category. Its storyline is based on a real-life incident in Pune.

Story line : A young boy is suffering from retinoblastoma, retinal cancer, and can only survive after losing his eyesight. So, his grandfather endeavours to show him that life is beautiful in every form.

Saatchya Aat Gharat is a Marathi movie released on 31 May 2004. The film is directed by Sanjay Surkar and produced by Smita Talwalkar. It is partly based upon a 2002 incident in the University of Pune campus when a student was raped by someone posing as a policeman.

Story Line :A man impersonating a police officer at a party rapes a young college student. After enduring the consequences of the incident along with the humiliation, she decides to bring the rapist to justice.

Dombivli Fast is a Marathi film directed by Nishikant Kamat. It is the story of a middle class bank employee, Madhav Apte, an ordinary, law-abiding and honest citizen who faces constant frustration with the injustice and corruption that pervades in all walks of his life.

Story Line :A righteous, cultured, and educated man decides to take matters into his own hands as he is unable to bear the rampant corruption and lawlessness around him. He finds a cop who is hot on his trail.

Tingya is a 2008 Marathi -language movie. It is the directorial début of Mangesh Hadawale . Tingya was screened at the Pune International Film Festival where it won the Sant Tukaram award for Best Marathi Feature Film. It also won the best film award at Mumbai Academy of Movies Images on 14 March 2008. Child artist (Sharad Goekar ) who played the role of the rural boy won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist for the year 2008.

Story Line :Tingya, whose parents are farmers, shares a great relationship with his bull Chaitanya. However, things take a turn when the bull falls ill and his father decides to sell him.

Valu is a 2008 Indian comedy Marathi film directed by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni. The film featured in various international film festivals as The Wild Bull. It also became the first Marathi film to be selected in Rotterdam International Film Festival 2008, the Netherlands.

Story Line :A forest officer travels to a remote village to capture a supposedly dangerous bull which they find far trickier than they anticipate. He is accompanied by a documentary film maker to film it.

Harishchandrachi Factory is a 2009 Marathi film, directed by Paresh Mokashi, depicting the struggle of Dadasaheb Phalke in making Raja Harishchandra in 1913: India’s first feature film, the birth of Indian cinema.

Story Line :Dadasaheb Phalke accidentally discovers a tent screening a silent movie and is amazed by the idea of storytelling. He brings together a team of technicians to produce India’s first feature film.

Story Line :Kisna, a farmer from the drought-stricken Vidarbha region, fails to get a good harvest. Since his wife is convinced that he may end his life, she tells her son to keep a watch on Kisna.

Story Line :The sense of smell dominates the lives of three women from different walks of life. Veena is curious about her college mate Mangesh, Sarang deals with divorce and Janaki struggles with isolation.

Music Director Duo Ajay Gogavale & Atul Gogavale (Better known as Ajay-Atul and are real brothers) won The National Award for best music in 2009 . Notably Singers Hariharan (South Indian) & Shreya Ghoshal (Bengali) won the National Awards for singing in Male & Female category .

Story Line : Jogwa actually means alms given to a person, usually known as a Jogta or a Jogtin. They are forced by the society to give up everything and serve God. Suli’s life takes a turn after she is forcefully made to serve the local deity because of an ancient tradition. When she meets Tayappa, who shares a similar fate, they find comfort in one another.

Natrang is a 2010 Indian Marathi-language drama film directed by debutant Ravi Jadhav and starring Atul Kulkarni and Sonalee Kulkarni. Composer duo Ajay−Atul composed the original score and songs of the film.

Story Line :Guna, a poor village labourer, loses his job and faces a financial crunch. He holds a passion for theatre and decides to start his own theatre company.

Story Line :Keshya, a young man, gets a vision of Lord Dattatreya. He announces it to the village, which garners the attention of politicians and gives rise to a media circus.

The film tells the riveting tale of a father reluctant to educate his son, a mother who fiercely believes in its liberatory value, and the son who is caught in the crossfire. It stars Milind Shinde, Mitalee Jagtap Varadkar and Vivek Chabukswar in the lead roles.

Story Line :Jaggu makes a living by playing in a local band and wants his child, Babu, to follow in his footsteps. However, his wife Shirmi wants her son to get educated and have a good life.

Story Line :The curiosity of four adolescents leads them to develop a bond with their elderly schoolmate Vishu who introduces them to a world they were completely unaware of.

Story Line : A landlord fails to retrieve a coconut grove given by his father to Naroba’s father in return for saving his life. Years later, his son follows his footsteps by duping Naroba into signing a contract.

Story Line : Ram and Sonal grow close to each other since they are unhappy in their respective marriages. However, just when the two are about to confess their feelings, their spouses enter their lives.

Story Line : Jabya, a school-going boy from the lower caste, falls in love with Shalu, an upperclass girl. At the same time, his family seeks to hunt an elusive pig in order to earn a living.

The film went on to win 18 other awards at several film festivals.

Story Line : The film examines the Indian Legal System through the Mumbai Sessions Court trial of an ageing Protest singer, Narayan Kamble , who is accused of encouraging a manhole worker to commit suicide through one of his folk songs.

Story Line :Dr Chakrapani Shastri, a retired Sanskrit professor suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, sees an elephant on the road and follows it across the city, thus panicking his daughter.
